PS: Keep in mind that a hog rider can be a fine first pick if you have a game-plan of immediately going for a Greg! But for standard 'push the middle' gameplay you'll find that if you pick him first he'll drop very low in health unless you're able to get a way to heal.

Greg is most of the time a good first pick. If u chop 2 trees he gives u enough coins to open 2 chest. No players attacks you in the first 10 seconds of a game.

Chicken is actually super OP first pick in pinata mode.. with its fast attack speed you get coin for everyhit to pinata.. try it!

Goblin is an awesome first pick....you can hit the next chest literally right away without killing anything and then you can take a DPS for your next pick. And now you are getting extra coins + have DPS from the start.

The only issue with this game is the pay to win option of buying keys, get rid of that, and world peace is achieved

I'd argue that the chicken is one of the better common starts, giving you the ability to manouvre in and out of trouble, boosting your DPS because of the boots attack speed. Chicken start with fusion ASAP is very strong for chasing down enemies, that combined with barbs/colts/shellies makes a very strong squad.

hog rider is a mid game pick, ppl don;t realize that those gravestones act the same as grass and other things that slow you down.
good vid overall. stays focused on units that ppl will have even before lvl 120. Would love to see a deep dive into match strategies for each game. (I.E. - if starting with fusion goblin is easily the best unit)
a vid on why ppl should slow down and see what units are going to be in chests is lowkey a gamechanger. ppl are skipping over that screen.
gonna subscribe and see what else you'll pick up in the game.

This has actually been super helpful in upping my game, tank is ridiculously good and shelly/barb early on have been fantastic, I've had several 500+ gems matches since adopting this as a strategy

Actually the chicken can be good for supplying speed boosts at the start and can be good if you have a high max turbo late game

Chicken is a fairly good first pick. Yeah until you have a few hachlings his damage is a bit low. But you have boots.

You can just speed through the early game economy and go faster than others. If your second pick does a fair amount of damage having chicken first is good.

Bo is also great first. But it depend on the mode. While I think he doesn't belong in weak. He still 2 shot crates. And destroy game mode enemies. It's the easiest way to get big amount of coins early on the gobelin thief's mode for example.

Gobelin is also pretty good has he is basicly just more dps. As you can instantly open 2 boxes.

As for other suppliers. Trader is the worst since he doesn't give you more gold. But he still heal you. But the other are just another gold source that help you speed through the early game economy. And if you want a combat ready squad. We'll just get the first supplier alone and he might die later freeing a spot.

I used to pick any rare/epic if I had a chance to, but it's actually a terrible idea as it is very difficult to fuse in the early game and chests end up very expensive

chicken is actually like an S teir first pick. With enough speed boosts you can gain an amazing advantage in most of the modified modes (ring grab, gem pot, item surge, etc.) and additionally you can enable the viability of greg and mavis early game as you have enough speed to get away from opponents and towards a chest with the resources you have. Additionally I think trader should go at the lowest rank as there's really no point to getting him early game with the amount of coins you get, and you just make yourself a juicier target having more gems and a weaker squad early game. Trader is amazing later game though.
I also disagree with bo low teir, he can make up for the weaknesses that picking chicken would entail by raising dps whilst still having enough speed to get out of a situation. I'm not at your late game level, I only have 3 stars right now and I'm in the beach area because I'm F2P, so maybe I don't have enough experience to understand your takes, but that's my 2 cents. But thanks for making this video, it was entertaining!!
