GPD Win Max 2 Disassembly and Keyboard Replacement

This is my GPD Win Max 2 disassembly and keyboard Replacement video.

Since I am used to German keyboard now, this swap was a must!. It also gave me oportunity to disassemble Win Max 2 to get a better look and see how well is this device built. This knowledge will be helpfull while preparig my final review.
Please not that I was recording with old Samsung S10 Plus and native app.
Thats why video quality is not up to my standard, but what is done is done...

Since I need to open it to replace the fan I was thinking to swap the keyboard to have it in my language, now I think that I will stick with stickers! thanks for the video.

that was a painful repair. My space bar was broken from the beginning but GPD sent me a replacement keyboard and I thought this was an easy job. I didn't open many laptops before, here and then some RAM or HDD upgrade, but never disassembled a whole device. I also have the ifixit set which worked fine as explained in the video. I found it tricky to get the small cables out of their sockets without pulling too hard on the tiny cables or stripes but it worked out in the end. My main problem was the glued keyboard back cover. I could take it off but when I pulled the big flat cable away from it it ripped out some chunks that I taped back again. Functionality doesn't seem to be affected since the damaged layer is the one at the back. Great video, thanks, wouldn't have worked without you! I wished you would have pointed out more in detail where all the connectors are and what's the best way to disconnect and reconnect them. Else everything was pretty clear and good to follow. 0:21 I believe if you have the 4G Module, you'll need to disconnect a short and flimsy flex cable from inside the 4G bay before lifting off the bottom cover. But excellent video! Obviously lots of work gone into it. Oh, and give a scented body rub to your human assistant for not getting in the way or throwing things around the room throughout the video.

I bought a qwertz keyboard myself for GPD Win Max 2 and i'm wondering if it would be easier to swap out just the keycaps instead of opening the whole device?! Any idea on that? Should be a little bit easier hopefully..

Any idea what's the issue if my windows key is always stuck? Even in bios, I can't press the arrow keys unless I press the ins key to override the continuous presses of the windows key.
