For years, Matt Stairs was my favorite power hitter. There was something so endearing about that guy, and his approach. Just gunning for a homer every at bat. Though I'll always appreciate him (that playoff homerun vs the Dodgers was unbelievable), Schwarber has supplanted him as my favorite pure slugger. Love watching this dude swing the bat.

I am a crazy Phillies fan. I walked to Connie mack stadium with my dad and brothers back in the 60s. Just about lived at the vet. am 65 year old man dam how I wish my dad was still with us to see that the Phillies have owners that are spending money to have one of the best baseball teams. am still waiting to see the full potential of this Phillies lineup. Just think of how great and how unstoppable they will be. if every guy in the lineup was hitting like Kyle schwarber 8s hitting. wow just think of it no pitchers would want to face the Phillies.

Just like the 1st half Phils, there's somebody stepping up and getting it done. Nice to see Schwarbs getting his groove back. Now all we need is Hays healthy, and for Turner and Harper to get back on it.

Dodgers certainly are the darlings of the MLB. Didn't show the 3 plays that we had to challenge in the first 4-5 innings, but made sure to show the Rojas obstruction play. Last night on MLB Network they showed how Freeman was the youngest player to whatever the bs doubles stat was.
