You evaluated so many iems and you have so much knowledge on the iem sounds that I that if you do a ranking of the iems, it would be one of the most important references. Congrats. I hope one day you release a iem ranking based on your big knowledge.

Brilliant review from the best technical IEM reviewer in the community!.

Very in depth and detailed impressions of the sets. Can see your true passion for the hobby and I truly appreciate your honest impressions, Tony. I feel that you do spend your own hard earned money to graph and create new content. I think its something other reviewers has lost - either blew-up and got caught up in collabs with these Chi-Fi companies, became an affiliate and/or pushing product. Keep it 💯🤙

they've been around for years, its nice to know they now made a name beyond their home turf, am actually kind of surprised that the 41T still on stock cause the brand actually kind of stop production of this model and move to its decedent, the 51T ( yes its 1xDD + 4xBA ), their latest 1+4 is the 1planar + 4BA and its something like $100 range pricing ..

Just FYI, the brand's name " 匠音君子 " can best be translated as " A Gentleman Crafting Sound ", kind of hard to translate due to linguistic but its about so, the home market just shorten their name to " 君子 " which just mean Gentleman, good work, keep it on

Well well well. I received my 41T yesterday and with the Spinfit W1 eartips it's quite a treat to listen to. Much like the Orchestra Lite the mids have a strong presence with nice layering, though I'd say it's the eartip doing most of the work here. The bass really takes that "when called upon" concept and runs with it, because there isn't much punch, slam, or rumble being accentuated here, but you do get a carefully implemented sense of presence with sufficient texture on top; this ensures there's some distinction between bass guitar and other styles of bass. The steady rise towards the subbass peak of the bass shelf allows for a nice "thump" down low when a song asks for it, and it even provides an immersive sense of depth for those dramatic, theatrical types of songs- just don't expect a perfect implementation here because engagement is not this IEM's priority. There have been times where i wish there was a bit more punch to the low end, but basslines are still mostly easy to follow with a relaxed intensity (it is a tad better in that regard with the Acoustune AET07 eartips, but I'm more fond of the better stage and separation provided by the W1 tips). The mids have a nice forwardness for the sake of vocals, enough strength and "meat on the bone" for guitars clean or distorted, and strings are soft but sometimes have a goldilocks amount of desirable "zing", however, much like the bass this is a relaxed presentation with neutral (not too aggressive but not too passive either) quantities of engagement and texture. Finally, the treble...well...it's interesting. The W1 eartips seem to handle treble the best out of the tips I've tried so far, and it does an alright job of keeping everything alive and expressive, that is, background and foreground details have a fair degree of crispness that this eartip (W1) works hard to maintain without breaking the neutral/relaxed personality of this IEM. I'd say the imaging and separation with these eartips are acceptable but not flawless by any means. I haven't actually tried my strongest source yet (the Hiby FC4 dongle) so there are probably certain energies left to experience. Even still, whether plugged into my S10's headphone jack or the "unbalanced" port of the BTR5 connected via LDAC, the 41T is definitely an endearingly neutral set that can work with most of my library. Rock and Metal wouldn't be its immediate strengths, Christ no! However, I really don't think anything is being left out of the picture, which is the same way i feel about the Orchestra Lite. When you get used to a sound signature like the Yume Ultra, the 41T could easily seem like too easy going of a sound for the typical Metallica or Scorpions song...and yet I find satisfaction as the tone and timbre naturally portrays the vocals and instruments. The more neutral bass of the 41T is more appealing to me than what's on the Orchestra Lite, but I'm still not the biggest fan of subbassy earphones as more "thump" is being captured than "growl" or "bite" which is what i look for in the reproduction of bass guitar. At least the AET07 tips sort of even out the characters in the bass, but the W1 does alright. I do think the Legacy 2 has the best bass I've ever heard, but that's because it's *really* clear and tight, and the 41T is like an oddball blend of that bass with the Yume Ultra's bass...if that makes sense. At the very least bass bleed is avoided without the complete sacrifice of body or noteweight, which is something that had to be made up for on the Ultra using the Azla Vivid Edition eartips (they make bass a tad punchier and warmer). Moreover, the 41T having the subbassiness it has provides a nice "bottom" for the mix to perform on top of, something that's a tad hollow on the Legacy 2. Such a sound down to 20hz feels pleasantly immersive in a way, and if anything it allows the music to feel deep. In short it helps more than it hurts, but this is a song dependent thing. Listening right now to "Sacrifice" by The Expendables...damn does that bass sound nice. Every now and then you can actually hear the little "bites" from the bassist's strings as he plays, and both the clean and distorted guitar portions are beautifully portrayed, though a little more "crunch" would be better for my tastes. W1 tips did a solid job handling the busyness of that track, but you can still tell technicalities are not a strong suit of the 41T. I think by the time they completely "burn in" more flexibility will be felt, something i noticed on the Yume Ultra after having it for a little over a month (we're talking a roughly 3 hours of use via the BTR5 per day since getting it, with the exception of most weekends). No, i don't feel like sitting there for hours and hours to burn something- i prefer letting an IEM get accustomed to my dad-rock, funk-metal, and electronic beats playlist over time 😅

I really like the graph Tony. Very nice tuning.

Very nice comparison Akros. Aful Performer 5 is definitely tip dependant. I noticed BA timbre only with moondrop spring tips..with spinfit w1, it sounded as natural as it can be.

Great review, what a great iem set at an unheard of price. I have the Mega5p. I’m saving my coin for the Penon Serial.

Thank you for the review of this lesser known iem... it seems like a nice easy listening set... an LS35A "ish" sound perhaps... certainly "value for money" if it;s your tuning... Cheers!

That cable looks like something you'd see on 500 sets.

I've seen so many mid to shitty cables come with way more expensive sets.

I was always curious about the Juzear V5 being sold in China and available at Taobao (5BA with a Sonion 2389, a Sonion 33AP007 and a Knowles 22955) but never pulled the trigger. Have you ever tried it? I wonder if it could be a cheaper alternative to the EPZ 530?!
