Fun Fact about Gingy: The voice actor who plays him, Conrad Vernon, was actually a story artist on the original Shrek, and also was read the other characters's lines to the actors like Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz etc., but when he was reading Gingy's lines to John Lithgow, the directors loved the voice he gave Gingy so much that the gave him the part.
