I love the thrawn trilogy it’s really awesome and badass

I was so excited when these came out. They are fantastic, and I’ve always thought they’d be great in the big screen. The sequels touted how they were going to be different, yet they never even touched the plot variety of this trilogy.

Also, hyperspace taking time does go throughout the EU, but it’s typically not dwelled upon other than a reference. As a matter of fact, I just read a reference in Star By Star, by Troy Denning, where Han Solo mentions a hyperspace calculation for a jump to take 10 hours. But most of the time, it’s simply a time jump, unless there’s a character interaction that just so happens to occur during the jump.

The Thrawn Trilogy, to me, is the real sequel trilogy. I read it sometime back in the 90's. It was fantastic!!! It's worlds better than anything Disney has done with Star Wars imo

This trilogy remains the best sequel trilogy to the original Star Wars series by far. With some small changes these would have made three excellent movies.

I prefer new thrawn, less bloodthirsty....
