Welcome to Schony747 Trams normally featured on Saturday but this week on Sunday. If you enjoy the video, hit the like button and smash the bell for weekly updates on Schony747.

Today Schony747 features tram route 58 travelling through Royal Park. The park itself dates back to 1854 when land was originally set aside. Tram Route 58 runs straight through he middle and offers some of the most scenic views from both the tram and trackside that Melbourne has to offer. The video focuses on tram operations between The Melbourne Zoo and Park Street Royal Park. There is a short drivers view followed by some line side video highlighting some of the interesting points on the route, It's also a great place to walk through if you want to experience a great park of Melbourne.

Sit back and take a journey through Royal Park. The next video will feature the section from The Royal Children's Hospital. Have a great week - Brenden S.

Thanks for sharing. I have travelled this route a couple of times. It is a very pleasant ride.

Excellent work Brenden, enjoyed the cab ride portion. Those original articulated trams must be around or over 30 years old now, one of my favourites.

It's good to see low floor trams on this route.
It makes it a lot easier for prams, wheelchairs, and people with mobility issues to travel that route

I wonder, would this technically count as light rail? and if so, then does that also apply for the short sections of the 82, 59, and 12 that run on reserved track?
