Class Overview

The ebb and flow of darkness can be intimidating, and often, overwhelming, however, the Sorceress has overcome these fears in order to harness its power for her own ends. She unleashes her power in melee and mid ranged combat, all the while coalescing her power into fragments that can be absorbed to further augment her abilities.
Sorceresses are well served by agility, darting across battlefields like an avenging shadow, leaving nothing but havoc in her wake. Her limited defensive capability is offset by the small amounts of HP she can steal from her foes. The biggest challenge a Sorceress will face is staying two steps ahead of her foes, striking when they least expect it.
Lore:
The lineage of Black Magic, as recorded in the Book of Ancients, dates far back in time.
The first Sorceress, the one who started it all, was Cartian. All present-day Sorceresses are considered her descendants, and the little town of Tarif holds evidence for such a claim. Tarif was founded around three hundred years ago by Cartian and Allan Serbin.
The Book of Cartian, only found and circulated within Tarif, has always been considered the Holy Scripture for Sorceresses. Not everything was mentioned or explained in the Book of Cartian, however, not even the Reaper’s Scythe, the weapon solely used by the Great Sorceress herself.
During Cartian’s time, there was a great territorial war between the Humans and the Cyclopians. The Cyclops were about to completely consume the outnumbered and physically weaker humans, until Cartian appeared and vanquished them with the Scythe.
After Cartian’s victory, the Sorceresses divided into several smaller clans, and began to spread out across the world beyond Tarif. Though she had lived their for an outstandingly long span of time, much longer than that of an average human, Cartian is believed to have settled near Hexe Sanctuary, with one of the smaller clans.
Just before the almost immortal Sorceress disappeared, she injected every ounce of her destructive power into her Scythe, and sealed it away.
It did not take long before the Scythe was found by other Sorceresses who could not control its power, so Allan Serbin, a long-time friend of Cartian and the chief of Tarif, had to seal the Scythe again under the sacred tree of Scuffling Letusa.
As a result, Allan Serbin lost his body, trapping his spirit in a picture frame, where he watches over Tarif to this very day.

Personally I think the same idea can be applied to Musa. Even tho we don't have iframe whenever we want. We still can dodge quite a lot with chase. We have nice eva passive, but also huge reliance on accu. Therefore if we go for leebur and muskans we lose out even worse than sorcs. Hybrid build looked sorta nice, but if you say it's not something to consider now, I may think about staying in my DR set. Nice theory crafting.

Nice and goodluck with the changes. I would give everything just for your'e current hybrid evasion build. I run IV Muskan, V Luck helm and the rest IV gear . Squishy as hell when I trade damage so I usually die first.. And sadly I dont see PEN in my grasp ever on our servers not even to mention PEN Griffon or Urugon. I went muskan and Heve / Luck initially because its the cheapest options.

what is better DR or Evasion?
short answer: hybrid
long answer: you can still spec DR or Evasion but each of them has a weakness and hybrid has no weakness except being outgeared.

full DR is prone to getting swarmed by damage from trash aoe skills spammed everywhere
full eva is prone to getting 1 tapped by high accuracy skills (succession patch basically gave every class 25% accuracy in some way shape or form, be it eva debuff, acc buff, addons etc)

hybrid has just enough evasion to shrug off skills with low accuracy, and enough DR to survive the high accuracy skills

BUT to be a hybrid you need a lot of gear, and that dp can be effectively wasted if you get cced and the enemy gets FREE bonus down attack on you etc. so the idea is to NEVER become CCed because you are permanently in SA with high grapple resistance, insane dp and 500 accuracy. Sorc is a little different, as they dont really have lingering SA like other classes, but the same concept applies for any super armor.

oh did i mention 160% bsr from the tungrads? yeah thats important too, but it requires you actively UTILIZE it, for example planning to use a 100% bsr and then a 50% bsr, or planning to have a guild member feed you 40% bsr for the big 200%

Loved the video! But that brings a lot of new changes to my progression as well 😅. Why are ypu no running Dawn earings in the end? I remember you mentioning in one of your vid that they were the way to go, or if we really wanted disto, one dawn and one disto.
And last point, I saw you changed your crystlas around, because I see you don't have HOOM on dandi anymore

my current gear was full tuvala except V ultimate heve helm and V nouver with 50-60 bills of raw silver in market (i dont have any weapon on my main hand or awakening)
i rarely do grinds(only when my agris full), only do rbf and get t10 weekly payout (ofcourse because im the gm), and my dialy lifeskills gives me around 500mils-1b perday. but im not kind of people that could saves money (truth be told sadly)

So if you gained 13.6% damage reduction from the 10 dr on han hooms, wouldnt you gain more reduction from using dark red fangs in chest over special evasion? If it continues to reduce damage at the same rate it would be a 18% reduction vs the 9% you found on special evasion.

Hey interesting video ! Thank's for the video and the test that you do. What do you think about Malacod x4 instead of Hoom's ? Didn't test it yet but might be a alternative to being able to use S.evasion and still run a "damage" oriented crystal build. Have to damage is damage compared to RBF in shoes + helmet.

i tired exactly the same jus the oposit way. i had dr build and thought as long as id keep the 310dr the hybrid build should be better.
it was worse. my sorcfriend who i tested this stuff with had his normal full ap setup. and it still did more dmg to the hybrid.

i think classes that cant rly get tons of evasion via passives + buffs shouldnt even bother with evasion at this point. alot of people start using accuracy accessoirs.
and losing AP for centaur + kutum combo is just a waste unless you wanna be tankier. or are so overgeared that you can still reach high AP.
only viable classes that still benefit alot from it are probably mystic/striker. but might be wrong there

Ehh once you reach end game it doesn’t really matter anymore unless ur 750 Eva or equivalent dr, siege guild still one combo

How do accuracy modifiers work in BDO? I love theory crafting but it's very hard if you don' the know rules you're working with.
Example: Ninja has a +9% All Eva rate on his Smokescreen... now how does this work with modifiers? Does it only check the Eva I had when first casting the ability? Does it perma check and auto increase ALL Eva I have in this time frame? If I get debuffed does it debuff the buffed eva or base? If it's the full than what happens if I use it while debuffed and the debuff runs out?
Do buffs in general work additive or multiplicative? So much stuff that the game doesn't tell you :(
