I met Keanu about 16 years ago at the premier of the Matrix movie in NYC. I worked at the movie theater as a cleaner and server. The entire night, I saw all the stars in the movie come and go without any of them looking at me or saying hello to me, perhaps because of my color and the cheap uniform I had on. For 16 years, I have never forgotten the event that will follow the first few hours after I begun my shift at work that evening. Keanu walked up to me and asked me how I was doing!! I said to myself "are you really talking to me?" Believe it or not, he actually came up to me and showed compassion and care. That was the last thing I ever expected anyone to do that evening. He proceed to ask me about my job and where I come from. And I told him I was from Ghana and have been working at the theater for about a year. He chatted with me for about 5 mins but it felt like forever. He then gave me a hug I will never forget. He is truly a good human being. I don't usually leave comments on YT but this is to confirm this video. Keanu is good.

My mom worked with him on a movie a while back, and she said how Keanu was offered to skip the lunch line ahead of the extras. He refused and waited with everyone else.

I had the pleasure of meeting him once, and he was absolutely a humble, kind and generous man. I was exiting the freeway in Los Angeles, and his motorcycle was broke down. My co worker and recognized him and pulled over to see if he needed assistance, but he graciously smiled and said he was already waiting for a tow. It was a hot day, and we offered him water, which he declined, because he head one already. But he was kind enough to take the time to talk with me, shake my hand, and get a few pictures together. It made me a bigger fan than I already was.
