Plot twist, the pirates were the good guys. The type 9 dude UA bombed the station XD

The best moment in Elite is when you actually do this. A friend in a viper Mk .3 got pulled out by 2 eagles and a Diamondback (i forget which one). I was switching ships to see the stats on a Fed dropship when he started getting interdicted. In a panic, i forgot to switch back. The dramatic rescue done by a stock sidewinder was the best rescue you've ever seen. Took out the 2 eagles before another friend arrived in a Cobra Mk.3 and we dog piled the Diamondback.

Wasn't quite the support he was expecting but we still kicked the shite out of them!

Bought it yesterday because of this and i'm absolutely baffled by the first two hours it was like... darn wasted money.... then i got a wingman who played the game for much more time... and then BAM!!!

Voice chat (epic- all the buzz effects etc), pirate hunting, shit it's so much fun now!!!

Dang things are made of paper, and the Vipers are nearly as manueverable.  Vulture's a beast though - that's no lie.
