does any one remember when they claimed seat belts were going to make cars too expensive?

Can't say I was entirely surprised to see Graham out himself as a Monarchist.

Pelosi: "Let them eat ice cream." Graham: "It's the French Revolution." Watch out, tearing down statues and replacing them with guillotines! It's good to see the entrenched a little hyperbolic.

Lindsey's head is still attached so no, not a French revolution unfortunately.

Watching this from France, I'm not exactly overjoyed by Saagar both-sides-ing the French Revolution and its aftermath with Fascism. One has brought us Democracy, even if it failed quite nastily at first, the other genocide.

Ok so obviously the comparison is a bad take, but Saagar seems to fall very close to the simple “French revolution = bad” view that I’ve seen in other American conservatives and that just makes absolutely no sense. As a Frenchman, I’m well aware of the worst things about the revolution but most French people do consider it a net good in the grand scheme of things.
I love Saagar but he comes close to equating “seeing Hitler” on the right to “seeing the French Revolution” on the left and I have to say that parallel is puzzling, to put it mildly...

Lindsey Graham has been an embarrassment for decades. A corporate owned politician.

Reducing the French revolution to a simplistic snippet is a sign of ignorance!

I have to like "bat shit crazy". That sums up politics and political commentary in the US. Thanks Saagar. Kudos!

Saagar recognizes this as absurd rhetoric but not Tucker Carlson's rants, unbelievable. It is hard to take him seriously.

Thanks for the Marie Antoinette fact check, you're totally right and I was most definitely wrong. 👍😊

Lindsey needs a mint julep to go with his pearl clutching. Bless his heart.

I get to be 5 feet away from Krystal’s perfect chompers almost every morning y’all! They’re whiter than the spots Joe Biden sees when he tries to read teleprompters 😁

I feel like a lot of people only know of the "thinkers" and ideas that came out of the French Revolution, and no ACTUAL knowledge of the actual French Revolution.
