Hillary Clinton faces outrage over ‘grotesque’ D-Day remarks

Sky News host Rita Panahi hits out at Hillary Clinton after she shared a post on social media comparing D-Day to the upcoming presidential election.

Ms Clinton took to X posting; ‘Eighty years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought to protect democracy on the shores of Normandy.'

‘This November, all we have to do is vote,’ the post went on to read.

Ms Panahi labelled Ms Clinton's post as “disgusting” and “grotesque”.

“Absolutely disgusting, but you can’t even on that momentous day send a message without your Trump derangement syndrome and trying to equate what they did to defeating Trump,” Ms Panahi said.

“I mean it is just grotesque.”
