They gonna trash Maye when the coaching staff asks their 22 year old rookie qb to put a cape on every single week when the defense is letting up 4 tds in the first half, their o line is committing 5+ penalties, they don’t have a single receiver that would start on another team and he’s getting hit 10 times a game. The fact we have 3 wins is remarkable

This Murray guy is a real stick in the mud. He is so negative it hurts. He’s not good enough at his own job to be killing anyone else for the job they’re doing 😂

Old guy here (64), this Maye situation reminds me of Archie Manning experience starting in the late 60’s. Great young athletic QB out of Ole Miss, but unfortunately drafted by an inept expansion franchise (New Orleans). Spends the next 11 years running for his life, then they did him no favors by trading him to another crappy franchise (Houston Oilers) where he spends I believe another 3 years running. Maybe Maye will end up having some sons that will grow and get to enjoy some NFL successes. The Krafts have shown that without a Tom Brady and or Bill Belichek they really aren’t very good owners (imho).

The fact that this is even a talking point. He is our best player and we are asking him to be a hero as a rookie qb with a terrible line and bottom tier receivers. If he is doing this in the next few years with better players and coaching then you can have these conversations

I see what they mean though when it comes down to the two minute drive Drake throws interceptions within the first couple plays forcing the ball instead of nickle and dime it down the field.

The team was last in all offensive categories now they’re 22nd in most categories with Maye just give him time

This failure lies at the feet of Kraft. It’s sad that the commanders have been able to maximize their rookie qb better than the Patriots have. Washington actually spent money to acquire talent around Jayden and also had a competent coaching staff placed around him. Maye is dealing with a pathetic line, mediocre receivers and running backs, and being coached by possibly the worst staff in the league. This is absolutely ABYSMAL work by the Krafts.

Its Mac Jones all over again. Kid is not NFL quality, maybe he will be, but he isnt right now.

Comment section is littered with apologist bull crap from people who already think hes good and have already been fans from NCAA.

Hes over valuing his own talent and throwing INTs off his back foot. Not progressing on mechanics. Loose with the ball in his hand.

He isnt going to magically stop making bas throwing decisions because they find a LT. He is making mistakes when rolling out in space and when the line holds up a pocket.

The comparison is Trubisky. Same physical tools. Same everything. Need to get competent people around him. Players and coaches.

I mean, the guy literally has the team on his back. It’s fair to say it needs to be worked on, but it’s also fair to say it’s going to be difficult to improve this season, and that it’s the absolute LEAST of our issues, to the degree where it’s not even worth mentioning at this point.

Bradshaw was AWFUL his first couple seasons ( I know different era however) once they built a tam around him he was successful. I seems to recall a QB in Jim Plunkett that turned into a pretty good QB once he got off a bad TEAM.

Ok . He has no one to throw too. No one to hand off too . Garbage coaching . What do they want him to do ?

Know what's sad? That when this team figures it out and begins winning again? They will be even more miserable. Watch how they smile and laugh at any of the teams here when they're playing like crap. They really are malicious petty shits that have long since abandoned being journalists in favor of being personas. Murray is even worse. At least Felger and Mazz have a resume that predates YT and social media.

The patriots will not get back into contention with Maye!!! He makes too many mistakes with forced throws and I just don't think he's the guy to bring New England back into the playoff picture

Brady turned the ball over 74 times his first 3 seasons.. you guys need to relax

Both plays were him trying to extend broken plays where his line had let him down.

Bro he’s a rookie not a 3rd year starter, like ugly turnovers are gonna happen yall are slow and he has no one helping him look at his Wr’s, Caleb Williams has way more talent around him and has way worse games then maye by a mile
