The mutant singing during the mutant school party is Alison Blaire a.k.a. Dazzler, played by Halston Sage. She is a mutant from the comics who can change sound into light, a talent she used to further her pop-singer career. This was the character's cinematic debut.

A dream come true for the true and faithful Xmen and Dazzler fans! They truely caught her likeness, however this song is very catchy and should have been finished and utilized in the movie more and then put out for radio and on a good soundtrack!

I love how they brought dazzler in to the mix. And the fact hat halston sage was playing her makes it even better. She’s a great actress. Wish they would start branching out into the more unknown mutants, giving them the spotlight they deserve because there are some great characters they could use
