I adore Kevin and his tremendous amount of knowledge. He truly helps us in the vet field understand reptiles in ways we are not taught. I have gone on twitch twice just to watch Kevin. I can't get through more than 10 mins. I am there for the content not the on and off banter. I saw this pop up earlier while I was at work. When I just now got time to sit down and watch, I was sorely disappointed it was merely an advertisement for Twitch. Kevin, you know I seep in all your knowledge I can take. No disrespect from me, just not a twitch fan. Keep being awesome, Kevin!

After tuning in on you tube live only for it to shut down and tell me to go to twitch, then having an Instagram notification that evilmorphgod was live so I clicked and again after a few mins told me to go to twitch and shut down 🤦‍♀️ I re-installed twitch on my phone (an app I have ZERO clue how to use/support channels and literally no other reason to be on there) please STOP sending people on a multiple platform chase to view content!

I know you're all about Twitch, but some of us aren't = Mostly all of us who were here with Kevin on YouTube, way before you came along... I understand that you're intent on growing the numbers, but is it really worth it if you end up alienating all of the original subscribers?? I'm almost frustrated enough to unsubscribe, just to stop this "watch only on Twitch" bullshit - Good thing I have mad respect for Kevin, or I probably would...
Anyway, just my rant - You just keep on doing you!! 👍

I signed up to Twitch (which I’m not familiar with because I’m not that savvy) specifically for NERD livestreams plus I signed up to be a monthly, paying subscriber on that forum as they don’t seem to have a Patreon page only for Donny to complain/diss/get too cool for skool about new Twitch subscribers for causing glitches/fucking up the page?! From the comment section I witnessed today, it was banal. Utmost respect to Kevin and his seasoned colleagues for being animal advocates and caregivers and wish I could donate in some other way,

Kevin, I adore you and think that your knowledge of reptiles is epic and better than most vets. However, I tried twitch and got nowhere with it. I think it’s a tool that Donny has come up with and it really isn’t a good idea. Patreon would have been better and YouTube got live streams.

Twitch isn’t the right platform. I also think that Donny’s goals are, in some ways counterproductive to Kevin and NERD. In Donny’s mind BHB and Snake Discovery are the model. They may very well be if your goal is to be a Youtube star. I believe NERD’s social media strategy should be to complement their stellar reputation and help advance Kevin’s mission to advance the knowledge of both herpetoculture hobbyists and the average person. I understand times are tough and NERD may be having struggles as every business seems to behaving these days, but I hate to see the attempt to capitalize on social media at the cost of Kevin/NERD’s reputation.

This whole complicated Twitch thing and showing up here hoping to see great stuff, only to find NOTHING here but a referral to Twitch? It's kinda bullshit. Not exactly your fault, but uggh. Donny, you're not on the right path with this, man. Just... not.
