COP26, which will take place in Glasgow this November, is a critical moment for addressing the global climate crisis. Paris delivered a promise that the world would act on climate change. Glasgow must now show this action is a reality.

The clean energy sector has a key role in providing the solutions for our net zero ambitions. Our shared objective is to build momentum in the shift to a decarbonised energy system, delivering the technological solutions, innovation and investment required in clean energy in the UK and globally.

This session heard from senior UK government representatives on the UK’s climate leadership role and from leading businesses who have joined the Race to Zero. Andrew Griffith MP
Karl Zammit-Maempel, energy lead, Climate Champions Team
