Big News from Generation Hope—We're Expanding to Texas!
Показать описание
Generation Hope is bringing our Scholar Program to Dallas, TX!
This marks a pivotal moment for our organization, as we take the success of our Washington, DC, and Greater New Orleans programs to this new community. We’re not just expanding geographically—we’re building a tailored, community-focused program that will empower teen parents in Dallas to reach their full potential with the comprehensive support that has set Generation Hope apart.
Fewer than 2% of teen mothers earn a degree by age 30. But at Generation Hope, we’ve proven that when given the right resources—like one-on-one mentoring, tuition assistance, and a strong peer community—student parents can succeed at rates that transcend the odds. Our Scholars are graduating at a rate eight times higher than single mothers nationwide.
This January, we will be hosting our national Board meeting in Dallas and engaging with members of the community. We will be recruiting for our Director of Dallas Programming, and other positions and exploring options for the location of our third site. More details are coming soon, and I hope you’ll join us in creating a future where all student parents can thrive.
