If you have,
2 gb ram - 248 mb
4 gb ram - 512 mb
8 gb ram - 1028 mb
So keep this in mind if your pc is 2 gb ram and you type 512 mb then it will not come

Okay...so it works. Now for the million dollar question. Where does that ram come from, and what risks or resources am I sacrificing? I assume it takes 512 mbs' from either my ram or my processor cores...but how might that effect my system over all?

Does it increase my minimum allocated graphics memory or the maximum one....? Because, when I see it on my Intel GMA it says currently used allocated has only 40mb with maximum of 1342mb and minimum of 128mb so is this mod increase the max. value or the minimum one?

Doesn't work for me, typed in everything exactly, I had the updated driver for Intel HD graphics 3000, got a 64 bit copy of windows 10 home, made a key under the Intel registry called GMM, made a 64 bit key, named it DedicatedSegmentSize, did 512 with hexadecimal selected, hit OK, restarted it, and it still reads 32 MB. What do? Using a laptop btw
