Prashant Kishor Declines Congress' Offer, After TRS Signed Deal With I-PAC, Why He Dumped Gandhis?

After speculations of poll strategist Prashant Kishor joining the Congress party, senior party leader Randeep Surjewala confirmed with a tweet that the former has declined the offer to join the party's Empowered Action Group 2024. Kishor had reportedly proposed an overhaul in Congress during his meeting with the party leadership. Interestingly, TRS working president's KT Rama Rao on April 25 said that Kishor will not join the Congress. His decision comes afteR TRS signed a deal with IPAC and held talks with Kishor and CM KCR held talks with the poll strategist.

I do not understand as to why the headline is not like Congress dumped Prashant Kishor. Prashant Kishor is a liability in so far as he wants to leapfrog to the top without getting his hands dirty in political dogfight.
