I am NOT a fan of decanting. We buy things in containers that show the size, instructions, sometimes an expiration date. You lose all of the important information when you put it in a glass jar. And it costs more, and it's more work. No.

If you already buy pretty glasses you might as well find a store where you can just fill the glasses with washing supplies so no plastic has to be involved :)

I prefer keeping toilet paper in its packaging to protect it from dust. The glass jars are beautiful.

Personally I prefer the original packaging in case I need to read the label again. But to each their own.

For those confused by decanting - it can be easier to access certain items if decanted (ex: putting flour in a rigid container instead of leaving it in the paper bag). In other cases, decanting removes visual clutter. I don't mean this from an aesthetic sense, but in terms of an actual sensory overload. I don't decant everything, but opening a closet and seeing a bunch of bright, loud, labels and ads screaming at me stresses me the eff out. If I need instructions, I can just look it up online. In any case, do what works for you, but hopefully the perspective helps!

I would just keep these things as it is. Once opened, they loose the smell and start gathering dust.. If kept packed, they remain fresh much longer. 😐

Not when you have kids. put cleaning products in jars of lollies. That is confusing. Just leave it with the container it came with.

It is simply showing how she does it and you don't have to follow her example. I love it! This would so help me and I love storing in glass jars. Just stored my rice and noodles in ones. Have to try out these ideas. Would help organize my stuff and look so pretty.

The purpose of those containers that those products are already in, are for a purpose.
