John Deacon is one of the most underrated bass guitar players in rock, and this particular song highlights just how good he is. Incredible musician.

FINALLY!!! Someone's finally reacting to something else by Queen other than the usual 3 or 4 songs! Queen's deeper cuts are excellent! Try "Fun It" or "Need Your Loving Tonight".

The lineup was exactly the same from the moment John Deacon joined on March 1, 1971 to the day Freddie Mercury died on November 24, 1991 .
For 20 years, the same 4 men gave us an immense catalog of music that is woven through the fabric of our daily lives — if you sat down and listened to it, you’ll recognize more songs than you can even imagine — from movies, to tv shows, to video games, to commercials, to sports arenas… Queen is still ubiquitous 30 years after Freddie’s tragic loss.

Queen “Get Down Make Love” from the “News Of The World” album

The bass and the guitar on this song are slammin' and the drums are insane. Of course Freddie is on point as always. I don't know of many if any other singers who could stand up to the instrumentals in this song, but then again, there is only one Freddie Mercury. Queen was always the same 4 members and each member wrote number 1 hits, each had a different taste in music so when listening to Queen, the only thing that you should expect is excellence because each song is a new surprise. Queen does a little bit of everything from vaudeville, to folk, to speed metal, to rock n roll, to opera, to funk to ballads, to disco, to jazz, to anthems and they do it all with strict attention to detail and amazing skill. This song was written by Brian May. Great reaction, thank you. Completely different but my favorite live performance ever, by anyone is Queen: White Queen Live at Odeon, Hammersmith. It is so incredible and shows exactly how talented this band is. Also, March Of The Black Queen is an amazing song.

One of the baddest, funkiest, grooviest kick ass songs it's so underplayed and not even known by so many!

You simply cannot listen to just the songs from Queen that are on the radio. They are far too dynamic to not listen to all of the songs. There is so much there for everyone. Many people will be blown away by their talent and their range if they invest in Queen. Three lead singers, four songwriters, massive talent. They are the best ever !!!

Considering Brian wasn't a big fan of the band's funky side, he made a hell of a great job with this one. Thanks for doing this particular version, I just love the way that each of the boys get the chance to showcase their talents. As for the band's line up, it remained the same four guys from '71 until Freddie's death in '91.

Queen can't be put in a box, their music is in nearly every genre, they are totally unique. Thanks for the reaction

The LIVE version of this at either Montreal 1981 or Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 are both AMAZING.

Queen is best known for rock, but they have songs that represent almost every genre: funk, metal, pop, soul, gospel, jazz, blues, folk, ragtime, operetta, disco, rockabilly, anthems, movie soundtracks, even a madrigal with a fugue section, and what was among the first true "diss tracks" and the Bo Rhap video is credited with starting the entire music video genre as part of a music marketing strategy. Yes, I'm just a bit of a fan... Welcome to our Rabbit Hole.

Absolutely love this song. When i first heard it i too was blown away. John Deacon for me has an absolute stand out performance here, and it's a shame many talk only about Roger, Brian and Freddie. This song shows one of his many talents!!!

They have another really funky one called "Fight From the Inside" that showcases their drummer Roger Taylor. He plays all the instruments & sings lead. I think you'd definitely dig it.💙☮

P.S. Our dear Dr. May plays the main guitar riff but Roger plays rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums & sings. He has a great voice & could've been the lead singer in any other band but hey, they had Freddie. Roger & Brian always provided great harmonies though.

Btw, Brian is indeed a Dr. He's an astrophysicist who has collaborated with NASA. Also an author, photographer & one of Great Britain's foremost wildlife & animal welfare advocates. I adore that man.💙

Yes, more Queen, please. These four great artists are very different characters with songs literally from every genre of music. They were voted the best live band and every member wrote the number 1 hit, which is unique, love them

You never know what to expect from Queen. That is one reason why it is always an experience listening to one of their albums and not just a single. They do not have a specific genre. They are in a category all their own!

This song is what we'd all call a deep album cut, off a great album. Heavy funk riff, blistering guitar licks, tight drumming and Freddie's vocals. I remember buying this album when it came out in 1980. I only knew Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and Another One Bites The Dust which had been out as singles. This song and the whole album blew me away. Queen were so versatile and covered more genres than most bands
