Best car I have ever had. My local mechanic was amazed at the quality so much so he bought one himself. His is now at 350000 miles and has only been serviced annually, had tyres and brake pads and wipers in his 10 years of ownership (its a 1990 model) he still loves it and has no intention of parting with it.

I've had three LS400's. The best thing about them is not in the high specification - it's the way they make you feel: relaxed, superior, benevolent, anger free. Sublime car.

I bought one in the last year with 270000 milages, did twice with her a day long trip (1100 miles there and 1100 miles back, and this trip did 2 in the last year!), and no fault, no stress, no tiredness, just fly on the road, really can fly, amazing car. The best for ever, the only first and last car which was made by the customers wishes! If you didn't tried or owned one, you don't know what you missed, if you see one in your mirror, better you pull away from, it is fast, incredible fast after 26 years too ;)

I stay in Africa Malawi and own a Lexus LS400 gold in colour 1995 model, after driving for all these years, its beautiful car to drive even today, considering the change, last year i bought another one as old as mine in green with low mileage and now i own two!
Once you drive its when value, people thought i'm crazy to have got exactly same again! its a super car for me even today! makes me feel very special driving it!

Just picked up a 1998 400LS. My brother's friend let it go for $2k. All that it needed was a new Alternator. Folks I am in love with this car. So happy the last owner took great care of the car, inside and out. 400LS has my vote.

I drive a 1998 LS400 and I am a car dealer - it's the best car I have ever owned and by far the nicest to drive. If you appreciate cars you should drive a LS400 at least once and you will see what all the fuss is about - they are amazing cars built to last and 100 % reliable.

I owned my 1992 LS400 since 1999, now with 295, 000 km, its still going strong, even the driver window stopped working and the driver door handle is ready to fall off, this car runs like it is new, amazingly built quality, Very quiet .One of the best  buy,  if you can find a good used one somewhere.

I got a 1998 for 2500 dollars with full service records.Maintained they are a FANTASTIC car. 244, 000 miles and literally runs like a new car. Highway cruiser supreme.17-27 mpg city/hwy. Best kept used car secret ever.

I've had mine for 19 years. It replaced 2 models of the most famous German brand (junk).
I still love the car. It's a joy to own and drive. Doubt I'll ever part with it. If you want to own a great sedan, find a good LS400 or LS430 and you'll never look back.

Bought 91 LS400 for 1500$ with 300k miles on meter and I absolutely love it. Specially when you press the accelerator pedal and the sweet sound of v8 humming come from the engine makes you feel awesome. I ditched 2002 Camry with 170k miles on it for the price of 2000$ and choose to buy Lexus. Not because of 500 dollars difference but because of the looks and contemporary technology of the car. It is made in 91 but it still looks modern in comparison to 2002 Camry.
