I don’t think it’s an app issue, I think it depends on which device you’re using and how powerful that device is. Fire tv sticks only have about 2 rams in it while Nvidia shield has about 3 rams, Android phones usually will have 4, 6, 8, 10 and even 16 GB of ram in them. Including newer chips in them as well and the same applies to Android boxes.

Fire tv sticks in my opinion is under powered, theirs just so much you can do with such a little device. Gamepads that don’t require a usb dongle will have latency while the ones that do require usb dongles won’t.

Consider getting a device with more ram power and newer chips, also try screen recording for your next video when using gamepass.
