Medea's terrific, both in the sense you're probably imagining and *also* in the archaic sense of the term.

It's a surprisingly whimsical theme considering the character

You know i just had a small idea....

Medea is called the "Witch of Shadows"
The Codex is called the "Book of Shadows"

The way the book is written is similar to Medeas pattern of speech and opinions. Most notably the passage about Heracles.
You also get the Codex by Hecate after a few wins against her.
And you have to unlock certain functions of the codex by incantations.

Is Medea the author of the codex this time?

This reminds me of so much of Darren's work in Pyre!! The witch themes go insanely hard in that game as well

These NPC rooms are already quite motivating to enter due their boons, lore dump and interactions (I mean, there's literally NO REASON to not enter medea's room in Ephyra the moment you get through the wall) but then they give us these BANGER soundtracks to listen to!
