My husband snd I just arrived here in Dubai about three weeks ago! We watched your videos from the UK. My husband applied and got the job! We are both in our late 40’
Next year we will be 50!
This is his EVER first job as a teacher! He worked in the hotel industry for the last 20 years! He managed to complete his PGCE this year and here we are!

The school I am at now (London) spend 4 hours per report. Every subject is reported, Art, PE everything. I couldn't do it. The main class teacher does the lot.

I'm 25 but graduated as EFL teacher three years ago. As you mentioned teaching positions can be quite demanding and schools always look for qualified professionals. I do not have that much teaching experience maybe three years. Hopefully in the future I will be capable of teaching either Spanish or English in Dubai, that would be a dream! amazing video :) very informative

Great video Aoife! I'm the next part could you touch on pay for a primary school teacher in Dubai? What you would expect to earn in year 1, how it would typically change year on year and if contracts are a fixed term do you get paid during school holidays etc. Thank you! 👌👍

Hi. Thanks for sharing your very informative videos. I am hoping to move to Dubai alongside my spouse and twin boys. I have experience in teaching English/ ESOL/ secondary and college level for over 10 years. I have only just initiated my research and it would be appreciative of you could give me a little more insight into what the different packages they have available and what would suit me best over Dubai. Would I be teachign at a primary school woh my children being taught at the same school too? Please share your experience and knowledge. Thank you!

Is it as nice as your apartment with all the facilities? Would love to know more info on the accommodation provided by schools and what it’s like!
