Seems to me Mars was literally devastated by something, a VERY long time ago. That said, these anomalies most certaibly could be the blasted remnants of what was once some kind of civilization there. If Im lucky, in my lifetime, humans, or at least some kind of advanced drones, will begin to scour the planet up close, with continuously upgraded technology, allowing us to view these things up close and really determine what they might be. Mars is fascinating!
