Wheres all those Haters now? I told you when this hire was made you got the best coach you could hope for, and a whole lot more. I was livid when our AD Pat Haden fired Coach Kiffin, and moved up to "despise" Haden when I heard of the chicken shit, backstabbing, pussy way in which he gutlessly fired him.Coach Kiffin loved USC, the players, the recruits and had a winning record, actually above 75% over 4 years as our head coach!!! I guarantee you Nick Saban would have trouble getting that many wins at USC under those circumstances. He'd A: have to find another Coach Kiffin to run the offense just to understand how 6 totally different offenses work in the Pac-12 as Arizona, Oregon, Cal, Stanford, Utah and Arizona St all run different offenses. How many coaches are winning 75% of there games under criminal (as ruled by Judge Shaller of LA superior court) NCAA sanctions when they are suiting up less than 50 players a game when the standard is 75-85? You could count on one hand how many coaches could do it, and the real answer is actually 1 coach as no other coach has ever had to deal with those crippling sanctions. Coach Kiffin proved he could do it, there isn't a top head coach in CFB who would dare even take that job. People need to give Coach Kiffin massive credit for his offensive and defensive delegation abilities. The man fired his father to try and help USC win games, thats dedication to your dream school. He took the firing better than I would have, and he took 3 years to learn from Saban, the antithesis of Pete Carroll if there ever was one. Now here he is on a 7 game win streak and he put FAU on the map, by being himself, Lane Train and all. The guy is fun as hell to be around, and he knows how to out-coach many legends in the game.
