Funny you mention about the "abrupt" clutching. I find the stock clutching to be bad as well, but for the reason of a tame bottom end for the power it has! i added full aftermarket clutches to my 2013 1000XXc (VFJ Primary and STM Gen2 secondary) and the bottom end has been greatly increased, along with pull throughout the powerband. The stock clutch also allows for belt slip (non locked primary sheaves). After riding hard in technical terrain for 20-30 mins, you could hear the belt starting to chirp and squeak once it got heat into it. After swapping out clutches no more belt noise. Honestly, out of all the modifications you can do to a Renegade, upgrading the clutching makes the biggest difference.

Am planing to get one of those, but my concern so far I didn't see any xc on Dunes, hardcore dunes riding, am living in Dubai and we are fanatics about deserts and dunes, will the current set of wheels work well ? Any adjustments I should consider before buying, also guys if u could share links videos for xc on dunes .

I watched your episode where you bought different Fox shocks for XC. And wondered why you didn't just...A) send them back to have them re-valved to what you got with the new set. B) Why buy the XC in the first place? Buy the lower packaged Rene, put the Fox shocks you wanted and instead of putting the $1000+ shocks on the shelf that came on the XC to begin with.

Personally I like the Cvt transmission than Clutch which I like better for real sport quads. And semi- autos are nice but I like Cvt because it chooses the right gear for what you're on...
