the reason the eyes turn grey has a reason. It called silver eye it actually happens a lot . for example if you get water in the eyes that could happen . Also excessive heat and old age can cause it too

A few years ago I found two blonde dolls that looked remarkably like my nieces. The oldest, Marissa loved hers. But the younger, Regan hates hers she says it watches her so she has it facing the wall in her closet. I had dressed them in vintage looking dresses in the respective favorite colors. I thought they were really cool but everyone reacts differently to them.

6:03! Silver eyes can happen over time to blue eyed dolls when exposed to water or sunlight too often. It’s common with older dolls, and its just a reaction. I have a doll that has a silver eye because she got water in it.

Update!!!- for anyone wondering about what happens with her ... I put her on a shelf because I didn’t want her in the closet anymore and now I feel watched every night I haven’t touched her since this post and ... she is gone now // (logically this could be my sister) butttt it’s on a shelf to high for her to normally reach so I’m not sure ? And she’s not allowed with my stuff anyway but that’s just what’s happening
