I could see how Akari had to take care of herself with no one able to watch out for her. But now she had Haruto to protect her, so she was finally able to let go of her Bad Girl person and be a normal person again. Honestly, while I'm not a fan of the Step-Siblings becoming Lovers thing, I do also see how that can happen here. They're both Old enough before they became Step-siblings that it wouldn't feel THAT awkward, and knowing she has someone strong enough to protect her would make her feel that way. Sometimes things just end up that way.

Shout-out to my Co-Star, Rebecca Danae (RibzVA) who does perfect these kinds of rough-girl voices. Fun times!

Oh yeah Haruto and Akari's parents remarriage really change their lives for the better and yeah who knows they might actually become husband and wife in the future their parents won't have to wait that long for grandkids. 🥰

I think I've told this story before, but when I was at the Naval Academy there was a couple of childhood friends who came to the Academy together in my class who were a real pair of badasses. They had both studied various martial arts since they were very young, including boxing, Akido, Wing Chung, and Muy Thai. They joined the Karate Club at the Academy (which is how I met them) and also studied Judo while there on the side.
They were terrifying. None of the girls wanted to spar with the girl of the pair because she hit has hard as some guys do and was just insanely fast on her feet, so she always had to spar with the smaller guys. They got married right after graduation and I never saw them again, but they remind me of the characters in this episode: great fighters who were, in reality, very kind people with gentle personalities who just happened to enjoy studying martial arts.
