How To: Easy Way To Roll or Tie an Eye in Cable!

I put this on my Instagram story and had a bunch of people asking how I tie an eye in cable, so I made a short video on instagram on how to do it, and here the full detailed video on how to do it! Hope this helps! This is an easy way to do it, and how I personally do it!

My dad taught me that trick yrs ago. 👍 also said that when attaching cable clamps to use the correct size clamp for the cable and to never saddle a dead horse, meaning that the saddle side of the clamp should be on the live or tail/tag end of the cable.

Been tying cable like that for years. I like to use Black tape or gorilla tape to tie the tail to the main line and forget about using a clamp. Thanks Jeff for sharing this, well worth it.

Putting a eye in a cable is a lot easier than doing it with rope. For me anyway. I been a sailor for 20 years and I learned a lot of knots. Well done ole boy
