There needs to be an auction house in the game. Eliminate this nonsense of meeting people to buy and sell. Tap on what you want and it will automatically appear in your inventory if you have the materials to pay for it.

Great info! just some minor correction from a long time PoE player: You never invite sellers to your party, always wait for them to invite you.

Such a bad system to trade, especially for console. It's just an ingame auction house with more annoying steps. I know that GGG wants trading to have friction but it's almost 2025, this is not the way to do it. Hell having guilds with in game AH npc vendors in hideouts would be better than this current system.

It’s weird to me that anyone would defend the lack of auction house. Is the argument that efficiency is bad, or that you want to spend more time socializing and less time playing the game?

No Auction house is f lame. Game is great though.

Why have they implemented trading through a website and not in the game? Either don't allow trading at all or implement it into the actual game like an auction house. This is not the early 2000s.

Solo Self found is the way to go. Earning your gear feels so much better than buying it. And since all SSF characters share loot I started all 6 classes at once and am keeping them near the same levels, no great drop is wasted this way.

u missed 1 thing: The trade should happed in the seller's hideout, and the seller is the one that should initiate the trade request.

We can't sell and buy anything yeterday and today cauz 404 error gateway, GGG fix it, i am on strove discord to buy in bulk map...

Im on ps5. I access the trade website, i log in. I find the item im interested in. When I click "direct whisper" I get a notice saying "invalid query. Your account must be in game to use this feature" Im lost im not sure what that means. Doesn't make sense, im in the game and accessing the trade site at the same time.

I am level 55 now and I have NEVER ONCE found a weapon for my own class that I can use.

I’m new to the poe world. I really like this game but I absolutely hate this trade system. I’ve followed every guide and I still get the “need account linked yada yada” when I try to DW them. Awful for console. I really hope they fix this
