To create the APK application from the kivy script, you need the buildozer module. I think Tim waits for buildozer to be updated and become workable on Windows as well, before making the tutorial, since for now the only way to create the APK App from Kivy is on Linux and Mac systems (or using complicated enough work arounds on Windows)
