Here me out. This place used to actually make quality food/patties on the regular. The problem is that with the rising popularity on Tik-Tok, they now are blessed with more customers than they can handle which leaves them with a quality control issue. If the owner would limit orders once they go past a certain limit, this would ensure that each patty gets made with the most love.

They were once at the top of their game but have unfortunately started resting on their popularity which is something that most establishments fall victim too

If you do what safe serve certification you know after 4 hours you should replace food. People who own restaurants don't always do that. Or maybe they mix old with new which is cross contamination. It's all about MONEY!
