Although we have sailed with Celebrity almost exclusively for years, the only other Edge-class ship we have been on is the Apex (3x). Since we haven't been on the Beyond and have not seen the changes made after the Apex, I am sure that there will be a lot of new to see on the Ascent. My husband and I are on the December 17, 2023 sailing in order to celebrate my 60th birthday! Originally, we booked a Sky Suite. However, we learned a couple of weeks ago that we won our Move Up bid and will stay in a Royal Suite. 10 days to go...

We're sailing on the Ascent Jan 28 for 7 days. I keep hearing the same comments about the sommeliers being MIA & the premium wines not being available. We've been on the Beyond & the Apex, so this will be the test if we stay with Celebrity or start looking for another brand. I love Celebrity so I hope they get their act together.

Hello! We sailed on the December 24th cruise on Ascent. Most of the complaints we heard were about how noisy the cabins were, but the very windy weather we experienced should be considered. Never had issues with baggage handling on X before, but this trip they replaced both bags due to the wheels being jammed up into the suitcases. Food was great, but as you guys noted, proper finishing touches just aren't there.

Great video guys! Was on Beyond while you were on Ascent and definitely think the addition of the parasols on the pool deck is a great idea. The games etc look great fun - hope they add all that to the other ships too! Did find Beyond a little bit soulless (compared to recollection of being on solstice class ships) but those additions might help a bit.
