Non-linear wave mixing animation

For linear waves, different wave modes do not interact while similar wave modes can only interfere constructively or destructively. However, non-linear ultrasonic waves of different modes can interact with each other under specific conditions to produce a resonant wave. This is depicted in this small animation. Different wave modes are shown as different colours (blue and green). The resonant wave is shown in red.
