IOT Theft Notification - Door Status

In this, tutorial we are going  to make a IOT Home Security system where we will be able to get the notification on our phone every time the gate is opened. Here, we are using NodeMCU with Blynk App(. The sensor which we are using is a Magnetic Door Switch and is readily available at any electronic shop. It is basically a reel switch that gets ON when subjected to a magnet nearby. It is very cheap and can be made easily, using some basic components.

Only step that could be added in between is - After opening Arduino IDE, go to Sketch -> Include Library -> Manage Libraries -> Search Blynk -> Click on the search result -> "Blynk By Volodymyr Shymanskyy" -> Click Install. This will install the Blynk library and will be able to include the "BlynkSimpleEsp8266.h".

Indeed a good project. However I think there is a better way to execute the code by using deep sleep method. It will consume way less power than the code of you and it will not require to wait for a specified time delay. What is your thought? Can you make another video with the suggestion?

Hey alok can i connect a acclerometer if yes then a acclerometer consists of xyz axes output data pins right??
Then after connecting the gnd and vcc of the sensor to nodemcu. Then i can connect x axis pinout to d1 pin of mcu then where will i connect the y and z axis.but then i just looked into code i saw d1 pin is for output.can i declare 2 pins for the rest y and z axes in thr code if yes how pls pls reply

i am using blynk app and google assiatant for controlling 4 switches. and i sed D1-D8, can i use D0 for door notification and combine the code.
