i will never understand the hate towards this guy i saw a post saying who would you take 39 year old shaq or prime dwight and people were legit saying shaq. saying Dwight is soft. this dude for about 5 years was the most dominant big man in the league and is still decent still averaging a double double giving you more than 1.5 blocks pre game. stop the disrespect towards this dude he was a beast in his prime and is still a good center.

When they actually passed him the ball as an option and not a bail out.

He was actually using post moves when he wanted to

Dwight pre injury one of the best centers ever. I remember how crazy it was watching him, he had a crazy motor, was a bully and started to learn more moves

That's why Shaq didn't like him!! He was replacing Shaqs Orlando years with performances like this!! He's definitely top 75 in my book!!

It's sad how people now think he's not a HOF player

Dude was a freak of nature in his prime..opponents would need to build a fence around that dude.

I like how people say that he doesn't have a post game yet 99% of his baskets he made in this video come from post shots 😂

Dwight's using the exact same moves today that he uses in this video. The difference is that he can't literally jump over his man to throw hookshots anymore and his first step out of the face-up isn't anywhere near as quick as it used to be. Those were his two moves.

If he consistently used a third move (i.e. a short face-up jumper off the glass), that could have compensated for his loss of athleticism by making defenders hesitate long enough for him to drive by or drop in a counter move. Instead, what we got is a Dwight that's too stubborn to realize he's lost a step, using the same moves he used 7 years ago, desperately hoping to see shots that used to fall.

Howard went off and the Magic still lose. His career there summed up unfortunately.

I don’t think Embiid can match up with this type of Dwight Howard lol

I remember watching this game.. and as dominant as Dwight was, the Hawks literally had control of the game the entire time.
