I can see the continents mod being a very interesting option for a factions server with a larger player count, where essentially each continent can have a single faction/kingdom.

Fun fact: The Aether mod was so good, that mojang hired the creator of the mod

The one with the most potential is the continent mod. Minecraft really needs to implement something like this to improve the exploration and make the world more immersive. I always thought that the game needed something like realistic continents maybe more stylised and compact to fit the game art style.

I’m so glad to see that the Mutant mod is still around. I used to watch Popularmmos cover the mod and fight all the mutant mobs.

After seeing that continents mod, I’m confident that you could pull off some type of pirate/one piece inspired conversion for the game, where the player could explore the islands and find loot, bosses, etc.

I really like the concept of the continents mod but I feel like in practice it might become frustrating to have to travel large oceans like that lol. Could be great with a fun boat mod added though

The continents mod has blown my mind. I never have realized just how small vanilla oceans really were.

2:55 I was so happy yet surprised to learn that Mutant Creatures, later continued by Mutant Beasts, has now had a second layer of remaking. This mod has been around since the early days and it's here to stay!
