Mexico = Lots of space + lots of engineers + lots of cheap labor + lots of natural resources + hardworking people + longest work hours in the world = manufacturing superpower.

Mexico has much potential to be a major world economic power, they have lots of oil, land, natural resources and the population is just perfect
Japan has 127 million people, same as Mexico, and Mexico is 5 times bigger.
Mexico has ALOT of land to work with.
But, most of Latin American countries have corrupt government and alot of people don't wanna move forward.
Still leaving in the 80's.
We don't like to pay taxes, we don't like to pay for street vending permits,
And that sort of things.
And is understandable in a way.
The government misuses alot of that money.

mexico has been making VW's and Fords for sale in the U.S. for many years now. I don't know why the Audi line has now finally decided to put a plant there. It will help boost Mexican economy

My Volkswagen was built in the Puebla MX plant and it’s of exceptional quality. Mexico is misrepresented and even demonized in many ways, but I believe Mexicans are hardworking and compassionate people and I’m happy to know my car was built down there.

I'm kinda confused, people have said once the Auto companies have moved to Mexico the quality of the cars have gone down and are not as reliable as they used to be. Their sales haven't been as well either. The same was said when Japanese cars were being made in the States and Canada. Besides being cheap why are all of these companies moving out of their original countries.

They should pay all the CEO's the same they pay their workers!!

sounds like the reason merkel was so upset about tariffs, I hope they sell them to other countries, as the USA does not need them.

Make it in Mexico, sell it in Mexico. Make it in Germany, sell it in Germany. When full automation hits, who will be able to buy? It would be well deserved if the big money men could make their shiny car but no one would buy a single one. He would then be one of us.

It's a good thing they are being sent to the USA!!!

Those cars won't last a month in mexico, very fragile vehicles.

I am buying a Jag F-Pace instead of a Q5 for this reason. This from a multiple Audi owner.
