BOBT Maps - Trail Maps - Instructional Video - Samsung Tablet

My faithful LG tablet has started to give me some issues with charging, so it was time to replace. I went with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This is a step by step video on how to download and install the BobT maps on an Android tablet. Your tablet must have built in GPS. I install using Orux Maps but if you are using Back Country Navigator app you will follow the same basic instructions. This video shows downloading the West Virginia, Virginia, and Kentucky Outlaw Trails and Hatfield McCoy trail systems but there are other systems to choose from in the BobT Maps.

Great informative video helped downloading on my android phone, so basically I can't overlay Bob T maps over Google map to see the topo?

I could not see what icon you touched to start GPS. Andni cannot find mine... what does the icon look like. I can see where I can add and change icons.

I cant seem to view my regular maps ever since I overlayed the Bob T maps onto Orux. Everything is just a light blue backround. Is there a way to get the standard map views back?

Hello I am planning on trip to Buffalo mountain trails the Hatfield McCoy trails, can I use this on my Samsung s20 phone and do you recommend for beginners, does map show me where I'm at like Google would for cars, thanks

I don't have an Orux folder in my file manger. I've followed this three times and it doesn't show up in file manger.

Thank you for the video. I have a Samsung A7 Lite tablet and I followed your instructions and I now have the 2023 maps in my Orux maps - the maps automatically went into my Orux maps without me having to move them or paste them - I'm guessing the newer technology helped with that - not sure. Anyway, I followed your instructions for opening the maps, but when I went to map settings - none of the things that are in your video showed up on mine. There are no options for me to click KML overlay settings. Not sure if the upgrade in maps to 2023 is the reason or something else. Any ideas or thoughts?
