Y-3 = -2(X-5)
Y-3 = -2x+10

Use simple slope formula instead of doing all this. Y-y1=m(X-X1).

Instead of deriving the equation, just put those values in given equations. That would be faster.

Also, rule out D early because it's slope is not -2

You can also jerry rig this one by plugging 5 in to the answer choices and seeing which gives you 3z.

Shouldn't it just be easier to just set the x value in the functions and if it has the right y value then that is the correct function it would also be a lot faster
