Man shot dead by police in Paris after 'beheading' teacher

According to French media, a man was decapitated on a street in the Conflans St Honorine area at about 5pm local time.

The country's anti-terror prosecutor has called the incident a stabbing but the Reuters and AP news agencies reported the victim was decapitated, according to police sources

A 'stabbing' in the same way that a nuke is 'a bit of a blast'

EDIT: Sky News have now updated their title to show it was a 'beheading' - after they obviously can't pretend it was a stabbing any more - although notice they include the word beheading inside quotes which implies it wasn't an actual real beheading, it was in fact a sort of mini- beheading, although probably not a real one, and even if it was a real one, it was definitely a mostly peaceful one - almost playful, a fun and jokey kind of beheading, just a few lads having a bit of banter with a knife.
