After Rape, Murder Of Dalit Sisters, Video Of Lakhimpur Cop’s Verbal Spat With Protestors Goes Viral

Two minor Dalit girls were hanged from a tree after allegedly being raped and murdered in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri. Victims’ family staged protest on Wednesday night along with locals, demanding justice for their daughters.
A video is doing rounds on social media- said to be shot during the protest on Wednesday night. In the video, a UP Police cop is seen indulging in a verbal spat with protesting locals, reportedly over “road jam”.
Six accused have been arrested so far by the police. They have been identified as Chotu, Junaid, Sohail, Hafizul, Karimuddin and Arif. One accused Junaid was caught in an encounter where he was shot in his leg, Lakhimpur SP said.
