Ursula von der Leyen, the European commission president, says the EU has formally launched proceedings against Britain after Boris Johnson failed to respond to a request to drop parts of draft legislation that would overwrite the Brexit withdrawal agreement and protocols for Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The UK had been put on formal notice by Brussels over the internal market bill, tabled by the prime minister last month. Von der Leyen said the UK had a month to send observations and in the meantime the EU 'stands by our commitments'

The UK was THE ONLY country in the EU with privileges: no schengen, no euro, opt-out Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, opt-out Area of freedom, security and justice ...
Yes that mean EU ... 😂😂 Greedy UK wanted more and more even now wants right and access to the single market and not to have any obligations ... you are just a funny nation...

It amuses me to see Britain cry out for interference or complain about the European Commission’s response to BoJo’s government while Britain breaks the European Union exit agreement and don't respect international law. In your opinion, who will win in the end? An economic union of 27 countries or just one other that don't respect its juridical and economical commitments?

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) is a department of the EU it is NOT an independent court so is guaranteed to rule against the UK. The EU itself breaks international law (agreements). There have been many cases. eg. The EU has ignored rulings by the WTO, the German constitutional Court ruled that the Covid19 financial fund/ help is illegal under the EU's treaties. ie. The EU breaks its own treaties.

Little Boris Britain's response is: 'Yes, but...No! But...Yes, but.... No! But! '
Speaking in a very specific and limited way.

So no mention of the EU threat to block food imports to Northern Ireland which ultimately led to this bill being proposed?

It is funny how English never admit they were wrong ... they were rather die of hunger and alone on their small island than admit they have made a mistake.
I mean ... your threaten the EU ... 😂😂 and what can happen to the EU? The UK will not send us food? So we are going to die? So we will not have one trade agreement but still have 100s more with another countries and the UK will not have even one? 😂😂
Are you for real? 😂😂

When I voted for the UK to leave the EU it was more a protest vote, I didn't expect to win, but having seen the attitudes and reactions from members of the EU I'm glad I did. When the EU was the EEC I was so proud of England being a member of this organisation, what I considered to be the United states of Europe. It was a middle finger to the rest of the world that Europe was as strong as any of the other super powers of the world, until the 90's when the EEC became the EU and every country had to abide the Laws of the EU, it felt like a dictatorship. That's when my pride of Europe changed to fear, for our identities our sovereignty and our way of life. Things have gotten much worse now and I believe either the EU needs to change big time or all members of the EU should dissolve the EU to protect themselves.

The troika – made up of the European Commission, European Central Bank, and International Monetary Fund — bears a fair share of the blame for Greece’s current state. The troika’s programs are based on over-optimistic growth projections, which have led to a number of revisions to Greece’s debt sustainability. Fiscal austerity has imposed a huge social cost upon the Greek people, pushing people out of work and into poverty, and leaving hundreds of thousands without access to public healthcare.

Just go for the Hard Brexit and give "Remainers" the option to buy an "EU" yearly passport for working and travelling.
