This is primarily for parents who are wondering if their child might be ready to learn how to code.
Fun Fact:
This content of this series of video tutorials are being converted from an actual in-person 5-day kids coding camp that I ran in 2018. It was the first time I have done this and the hardest question that I received from the really young and bright kids was totally unexpected. About an hour into the very first day, one student raised his hands and asked when was snack time. Threw me off but since then, I learned to prepare small snacks and juice boxes for all the students!
About MVCC
MV Coding Camp started out as an in-person coding camp that I ran in Maple Valley, WA, in 2018. After teaching about 50 kids over spring break and the summer, I decided to convert the content into a online format so that a lot more kids and parents can take advantage of the content!
What sets this video tutorial apart is that it focuses on fundamental concepts in coding as opposed to clicking-and-dragging and game-building.
