Many people say that a Tesla cannot hold its power for a long time, that only a Porsche Taycan or an Audi e-tron gt rs can do that.
In this video I want to try out how long my 2021 Model 3 Performance can go at top speed of 163 mph on the German Autobahn before the power drops. There is a shocking moment that I did not foresee, the danger of aquaplaning at this high speed….

Did you use track mode? That uses the onboard chiller to cool the battery and motors, which may have gotten you longer sustained speeds.

Electric cars are as interesting as watching paint dry. I can't think of anything more boring to drive apart from a very fast hair dryer on wheels. Roll on synthetic fuels as a straight non polluting replacement for petrol and diesel.
