Tropical Storm Ernesto is expected to become a hurricane late Tuesday as the center of the storm moves just northeast of Puerto Rico on a path toward Bermuda. Forecasters issued a hurricane watch for the U.S. and British Virgin Islands as well as the tiny Puerto Rican islands of Vieques and Culebra, which are popular with tourists.

I like this guy. He teaches as he delivers the weather. I always learn something.

Not many likely remember Tropical storm Anges in June of 1972. It rained for a solid week here in Pennsylvania and was the most devastating flood, since the flood of 1936. I was 10 years old and remember it well. My father had newspaper articles from Scranton pa area where caskets were popping out of the ground, it was so saturated.

When I was in middle school we were out for 2 weeks due to Irene and then a snowstorm on Halloween a week later. It was insane
