For me, simply restarting Steam worked, while restarting the game only, did not.

Hey. Thanks a bunch this worked for me. So I had DSL and switched to cable. I had this issues when I used cable wifi. But when I would switch back to DSL modem the games would connect fine. This video worked on getting my Cable modem to connect to games on stream. I was wondering is there a reason why this happened. Thanks again. Life saver
