If you're looking to get to friendly on the Horde side, I found that Mulgore is the best spot.

Just a tad south of the main entrance where the Dwarfs are mining there is a chest that spawns very quickly. It's also apart of the Shaman rune but every class can loot it. Repeatedly. There is a high chance of a crate inside and the turn in at Thunderbluff isn't far. I got to friendly very quickly.

You can hold a full crate and empty one at the same time (in case you have the mats to fill on hand)

Only having the supply NPCs in big coties was a strange choice. Should be one in every quest hub imo

you can delete supply crates as you go along and when ur in a city go to help tab and request deleted items back. Can do 50/7 days

Once you fill one up in your bags you can also hold another one (unfilled)

The tactic I've been doing is get with my mates, kill the random mobs right outside of under city, fill the crate if possible if not just turn it in and get back to it. My mates dont want any of the runes in there at the current moment but I need it for tank rogue lmao.
That's my take personally though, went by semi fast.
I think you can also just grind certain spots to get supplies like linen but for undercity I get leather working done.

The Repo/silver reward is baded on waht it is to turn them in.

Example Everysingle level 10 crate that is a trade good like mats u can find in the world or cooking items. will give the 6s and low rep. The crates that are crafted items like cloaks etc will give 450 rep at 15s

After that the 25 crates will start doing a similiar thing with 15s and 30s

This isnt an example of bad game design, its an example of game design 20 years ago. I feel like it was a deliberate decision to make the crates this way so that it slows down the experience so to speak instead of streamlining it like the future expansions all slowly did. I welcome the interruption personally

don’t worry about gold. at lvl 25, quests start awarding 1-2g, some nearing 3g. half way to honored on my priest now bc I’ve been able to just buy things to complete the crates off the AH lol

I love this system, but I think it's really good that they made the filled ones not unique. I think it's great. I just wish there was just a little bit more from the system and the rewards in addition to runes. Just some minor leveling upgrades/armor/whatever

In my experience the cost to complete the shipment is very prohibitive so I usually turn in without completing so I can continue to get more. I do occasionally complete it if it's within my budget.

I haven't looked but would assume the gold goblins have already jacked up the price of the items to fill. Maybe not since there are so many people out in the world gathering stuff but it will wouldn't surprise me.

The hold thing is bad design and disruptive to the emersion when you are leveling. I don't like it one bit.

@hammerdance just delete the boxes as you go and item restore once a week. Please like this and delete your boxes. You don’t have to go back to town. Item restore works on boxes

I'm alright with the design but only able to hold one at a time. I'm out questing and I run into them like the plague.

you can throw away a crate when you find another, so you can pick it up & then later you can use the recover item feature to have them get placed back in your mailbox
